We visited Belvedere Lookout, which gave us a panoramic
view that included Opunohu Bay, where the Paul Gauguin
was anchored, Cook's Bay, and Mt. Mouaroa (Bali Hai).
I'm not sure ... does it get any better than this?
The clear water at the snorkeling spot is about waist deep.
Our guide holds bait in his hands and the sting rays come
up to him for a snack. They show no fear of humans whatsoever.
Randy does a superb "Freebird" as part of the ship's band, "Siglo", while I
struggle with my own air guitar version of it (!). It seems that I introduced
Hal, our excellent "piano man", to air piano as he truly had never done it before!
